I was born in Mount Gambier, South Australia in 1952.
I became interested in meditation in my late teens/early twenties.
My early interest dissipated, and, although I did a lot of reading, and some practice on and off, I didn’t become serious about meditation until 1996, when I was in my mid-forties. But then it became my main interest, and I made up for lost time. I was fascinated by the changes that were happening in my inner and outer life.
In 2005, I started a meditation centre in the Adelaide Hills with my then partner Linda Clair. At around the same time I started teaching meditation in drug rehab centres.
Meditation is still my main interest. I have a desire now to teach in an open setting. I hope to be able to start, rekindle and strengthen interest in this ancient practice, which has had such a huge influence on my life in many different ways.
